DHCP registration FAQ

1. What address do I register, why should I register it, and how do I find it?

   A: We have a separate page devoted to this question. Some of it was written quite a while ago though, so corrections to things that have become outdated are always welcome!

2. How long does it take for my new registration to take effect?

   A: The server configuration is updated with new registrations every 30 minutes, so it could take up to that long for new registrations to be available, depending on when you submitted it compared to the server reload schedule.
